Just a short note to thank you very much for building me such a beautiful house. This is the third house I have had built and without doubt the one with the least problems. I am sure this came about through our regular consultations and because of your very straightforward approach to it all. I was particularly happy with your suggestions … with the old beams, the heating of the place and with the innovative approach you took to it all, without ever once pushing me in a direction in which I did not want to go. Also, we finished everything exactly on time and within budget … the only over-run I think was about 1% of the total cost and that was entirely because of my changes in heart as we progressed.
